Miniatures

ok, so I am going to start making some more miniatures and I thought I would track my work in progress and make tutorials. Here is a picture of something I did. I made the pencils and note pad for my craft room in my dollhouse. It is more a craft store. I also made these sandpaper packages too. I think they will look nice in my store.

If anyone wants a tutorial on how I made these, please let me know. :)

Clothing Inspiration For Next Doll

Ok, so I have been searching for a new idea for my next doll and I usually make fairies but I think I will make a greek Goddess next. I absolutely love these shoes and this dress. Does anyone have any ideas on which greek Goddess I should make?

Snow Icecream

so when it is cold outside and school has been cancelled, I have a solution......make show ice-cream! The boys loved it! I wanted to share pictures with you about our experience today. I think we need to go pro with this...... "The Wilbanks Snow Icecream Parlor! where our motto is "Say NO to yellow snow! Dirt is not optional but included! I've also included a link of the recipe where I found the recipe for snow ice-cream. Please enjoy!   http://allrecipes.com/recipe/snow-ice-cream-ii/   this is the recipe.
 You will need:
1 gallon of snow (or more if depending on the consistency that you like)
1 cups of sugar (I add to taste. My boys like more than what is called for) :)
1 tablespoon of vanilla
2 cups of milk
food coloring of choice
candy sprinkles, Oreo cookie chopped up, etc.

When it starts to snow (we don't do it like this. my boys just go out with a big spoon and bowl, place a large, clean bowl outside to collect the flakes. When full, stir in sugar and vanilla to taste, then stir in just enough milk for the desired consistency. Serve at once. Also, before you mix in snow, place a small amount in a clear glass or bowl and melt in microwave to see now much dirt is actually in the snow. However, GOD MADE DIRT, DIRT DON'T HURT!! LOL, My boys thing is....if you don't see it, it doesn't exist. ;)

my only tip for the day is...... JUST SAY NO TO YELLOW SNOW!

enjoy.....

Supplies

Ok, so I have become affiliates for a couple of sites that I order from constantly because I truly believe in them and I will only use ones that I shop from. MisterArt.com and Amazon.com are great sites and I have included some supplies at the bottom of the page that I use in my doll eye tutorial that I posted. They are from Amazon but some of it you might be able to get cheaper at MisterArt.com. I just haven't figured out a way to link the certain product from mister art on my page like I can with Amazon. I know in blogs and websites that I read, I like the links of supplies so I know where to get the product. I have links to MisterArt on my page and amazon. I just thought I would let you know. Good night!

Tutorial on Doll eyes

Hello fellow crafters,

It has been a little bit since I have posted. I have been busy with school and work and I need a little crafty time. I am in need of some serious doll making. I have even been thinking about making some more dollhouse miniature items.

I am putting together a tutorial on how to make doll eyes. I have searched the web and have found some great tutorials by incredible artist and so I have now found my own way of making the  using some of the techniques that I have found over the web. I know I don't have many followers but if anyone is watching and you would like me to show you the way I make the eyes, then please let me know.

I'm also going to make adding my work in progress diorama that my 5 year old and I are making. So I hope you stick around. More is coming soon! :)

Cassie :)
