Hello Friends, I want to share a new way of making fairy wings for your dolls. You could also taylor this to make wings big enough for a person as well. Here is a picture of the finished wings. I have not embellished them with anything yet but I wanted to just give you an idea. You could embellish them with anything (glitter, filigrees, etc.). Supplies Lutradur -To order-  Click Here   There are differences in lutradur. Either lightweight or thicker. I used the lightweight because I wanted more translucent look. dye or ink of some kind (I used dye-na-flow by Jacquard. colors were magenta and emerald green) To order click  Dye Na Flow some kind of a mister or spray bottle  ( I used 2 ranger brand mini misters for diluting the paint with water and a larger one for plain water) to order, click  wire for wings ( the size of wire gauge depends on how big the wings will be. for smaller wings like mine which were 1 1/2 inches use anywhere from...

So I am in the process of making 3 pair of custom fairy wings and I thought I would share some that I am working on. Making wings is one of my favorite things to do when it comes to the OOAK fairy dolls. I also love to experience with different ways to make the wings too as well as different mediums. I think the traditional transparent wings, vellum wings, and fantasy film wings are absolutely beautiful but I want more than just those ways. I also like wings that are decorated on both sides and look the same. Sometimes when you are using fantasy film, it is only on one side. I have tried so many different ways in making wings and my favorite so far is with tissue paper. I also like using bleeding tissue paper because that is what I use to color them at times. The colors blend so well together! The only thing is I feel my wings are too plain and I have a hard time decorating them and feeling good about it. Hello, I thought I would share with you a new little fae creature that I am working on. I mixed up some regular flesh doll clay with some caramel mixed in and she is turning out to be a little dark but I think she is cute and has some potential. I'm trying to figure out what kind of outfit I am going to put on her and if you have any suggestions, I would be happy to hear them.                                       If you have any ideas, please let me know. :) Cassie Wilbanks

Ok, so I have been searching for a new idea for my next doll and I usually make fairies but I think I will make a greek Goddess next. I absolutely love these shoes and this dress. Does anyone have any ideas on which greek Goddess I should make?
